Cinnamon Leaf Essential Oil
This sensational Cinnamon Leaf Oils is from the leaf and has a warm, musky, spicy aroma, reminiscent of clove. Contrast with the expensive bark oil which smells like the cooking spice.Bark oil is highly irritant where as our leaf Indian example is the non-toxic variety but can still irritate the skin so use with caution.
This beautiful burnt orange oil has a Middle to Base note and is said to be a great digestive and stimulant. Said to be anti-spasmodic and help with digestive problems including hiccups, colic, stomach ache and cramps, flatulence, nausea, and diarrhea.
Also said to ease menstrual cramps. It has a warming effect on emotions and has traditionally been used as an aphrodisiac. This warming also makes it good as a minor ingredient in massage oils for poor circulation, aching muscles and joints, arthritis, rheumatism and to ease the chills and discomfort that come with colds and flu.

KEY BENEFITS & CAUTIONS
1 - Cinnamon oil is an anti-spasmodic and can help with many digestive problems including hiccups, colic, stomach ache and cramps, colitis, flatulence, nausea and diarrhoea.
2 - The oil can also be successfully used to ease menstrual cramps, especially when combined with clary sage.
3 - The oil has a warming effect on the skin and the emotions. This quality has meant it has traditionally been used as an aphrodisiac. Whilst a small proportion of this oil in combination with others can increase sensation in the skin, it should never be used on the genital area where it can cause a burning sensation.
4 - This warming effect also makes it good as a minor ingredient for massage for poor circulation, aching muscles and joints, arthritis, rheumatism and to ease the chills and discomfort that come with colds and flu.
5 – The oil can also be used very successfully when vaporised. Again it has a warming and comforting effect, making it especially good for use in winter. For a traditional winter fragrance, try combining with Orange and Ginger. It also blends well with Benzoin, Cedarwood, Cypress and other citrus oils.
