Grapefruit is the most acidic and tart of the citrus oils, with an almost bitter aroma and this one has particular depth, making it perfect for combining with other citrus notes and floral characters,, including: Rose, Lavender and Cassis. In addition this has a tremendous top note that is sweet, sharp and crisp, plus our oil is the colour of summer straw. We just love the scent but said to help refresh, detoxify, and uplift.
Israel is one of the smaller producers of this citrus oil but it is accepted as the best available. This reflects in the price. It’s a brilliant top note oil! Sweet, sharp and fresh , It bursts from the bottle to yield its sunshine yellow colour. Wildly refreshing, unbelievably uplifting & said to aid detoxification & help with depression.
The fresh uplifting aroma is good as a pick-me-up from exhaustion & said, useful for sufferers of S.A.D. It helps stimulate the digestive system but is probably better known in skincare where it’s astringent and antiseptic properties, cleanses and tones oily skin. It is also a good hair rinse for oily hair types. Claimed to reduce cellulite through massage and has been said to be good for weight loss due to its diuretic properties.

HOW TO USE
Baths - blend 5-8 drops in a teaspoon of carrier oil and add to bath
Massages - add 2-3 drops of essential oils to 1 tablespoonful of carrier oil
Vapourisation - add 2-4 drops of essential oils to a burner, aroma stone or aroma stream
