Coriander seed Essential Oil Variations
Coriander seeds have been used for thousands of years by the Egyptians, as an aphrodisiac (with seeds even found in the tomb of Tutankhamun) and by the Romans and Greeks to flavour their wines, while the Indians use it in their cooking.
Our Egyptian oil has a very distinctive Middle Note aroma and is the colour of freshly cut straw. Sweet, warm, woody with a hint of musk, there is no mistaking our fabulously fragrant coriander oil. Although not one of the more popular oils, it has a variety of uses and is said to be a natural analgesic, aphrodisiac, digestive and stimulant. Also acts as deodorant by helping eliminate bad breath as well as body odour.
It assists in inhibiting the odour-causing bacteria in the mouth (in a well diluted gargle) and sweat glands. We just love its unique, slightly citrusy aroma!
