Lemon organic Essential Oil
Our SOIL ASSOCIATION CERTIFIED Organic Lemon is a real citrus treat. We find Organic oil producers put their heart and soul into their oils and this is often reflected in the overall quality.
This wonderful example is from a leading producer in Sicily renowned for their citrus oils, including mandarin, blood orange and bergamot. Quite simply stunning, but make no mistake. All of our lemon oils are great examples with the Amber glass range offering outstanding value for money. However, this Organic would be our favourite due to its intense scent.
The main variety of lemon used here is the femminello. The crop goes from September to June and a tree can have up to 6 blooming in a year. The quality of the recovered oil varies considerably depending on the time of the crop and the extractor used. Needless to say, we are very particular on both.
This fabulous fragrance is said to be uplifting and ideal for use in reed diffusers or melts. The oil itself is thought to have antibacterial and antiseptic properties and particularly useful when vaporised to ward off coughs and colds.
