May Chang Essential Oil Variations
Historically May Chang has been blended with Almond Oil and used to perfume the body prior to meditation or prayer, to impart a sense of strength, calm and mental clarity.
Today it is thought to be bright, lemony, energising, and is most commonly known for its usefulness in dealing with skin problems. It retains its uplifting properties, and it has a strong effect on promoting mental and physical well-being.
The scent is very distinctive being strong, oily, grassy, and lemony but fruitier than say lemongrass. Our chines oil is a beautiful light yellow to golden colour and brimming with top notes.
Top Tip: Its anti-fungal properties can be beneficial for athletes’ foot and it can also be used to deodorise and combat excessive perspiration.
