Orange Sweet Essential Oil Variations
Our Therapeutic grade Sweet Orange comes to us from Brazil and is brilliant example of this citrus oil. Sweet, floral, fresh and citrusy with a more aggressive scent than say mandarin and tangerine.
This yellow to orange oil is bursting with citrus top notes. Our Soil Association Certified Organic Sweet Orange is a real treasure. Where else would we find the perfect but in the Sunshine State of Florida . This fresh, sweet, fruity oil provides an exuberant, juicy, richness which is simultaneously full of the sun’s rays.
This wonderful yellow to light orange oil is bursting with top notes and the zingyness we know you will love. It is said to be antiseptic, anti-depressant, antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, diuretic, sedative and tonic. Not as intense as our Five Fold Orange but still packs a powerful citrus punch. It is great for oily skin as an astringent and helps with toning.
It can ease cramps and is used as a muscle relaxant or to reduce the ache of muscles after exercise or injury. It is also well known for promoting a feeling of calmness.
TOP TIP : It is the perfect oil for crafting as it is bursting with scent but available at a very modest cost. Try it in melt and pour soaps, candles or just neat on a burners.

Cautions: It is a safe non-toxic, non-irritant and non-sensitizing oil, yet care must be taken with it since it can have a phototoxic effect. It should therefore preferably not be applied before going out into sunlight for prolonged periods.

HOW TO USE
Baths - blend 5-8 drops in a teaspoon of carrier oil and add to bath
Massages - add 2-3 drops of essential oils to 1 tablespoonful of carrier oil
Vapourisation - add 2-4 drops of essential oils to a burner, aroma stone or aroma stream

Shelf Life - Our essential oils all have a shelf life in excess of 12 months. However, as with any essential oil we recommend using it within 12 months of opening
