Ravensara Essential Oil Variations
Ravensara Oil is so often confused with Ravintsara Oil. Although the source for both oils is often Madagascar and their common names are quite similar, Ravensara and Ravintsara are both very different essential oils. This product is the oil steam distilled from the leaves of Ravensara aromatica. We do not recommend or stock oil distilled from the bark due to high Estragole (Methyl Chavicol) content.
Ravensara essential oil is a powerful oil from Madagascar where it is known as a “Cure All” oil, in much the same way as tea tree oil is heralded in Australia.
